Server went down and backups are corrupted. I'm restoring what i can but it's a slow process. I'll share when the website is functional again.
As some of you have noticed the uploader have been gone for a few days. It's fixed now so you can upload addons on your own again. Sorry for the trouble.
The very good news is that packages are back in DLC so installing stuff from the scratch is easy again.
I wish you all happy a New Year and fun with the new .20 hedgewars version.
I made website and related DLC section simple again. Authentication is required only for upload and posting new comments.
I also migrated all addons to new .hwp format. Hwp is a regular zip file with file structure like DLC normally expects (so addons didn't change, only extension). They have one big advantage - it's enough to put such packages in "Data" directory and they just work. No need to unpack, create directory structure etc. It is especially convenient if you install addons manually (protip: make shortcut to hedgewars data directory on desktop). Those packages are fully compatible with unzipped version.
Under the new menu entry "Comments" you can browse the list of comments from all addons at once. It should be easier to keep track this way. Also editing your own comments is available now.
I also made some small look change. Basically some things become centred.
Due to the way game handles zip files new directories weren't created as i expected. So if you didn't have proper directory tree installation was simply ignored. I recommend using 'reinstall-all' for everyone who was using new DLC.
Some new solutions might not be perfect but I think it's worth to try them anyway. The two most important changes are support for all kinds of addons (maps, themes, graves, hats, forts, scripts, voicepacks) and addon version tracking. Unfortunatelly it's not possible to have versioning support in other way than tracking downloads on this website. That's why registration is necessery and that's why DLC is handled as it is. With time we might figure out better solutions but for now that's how it will work.
The general idea is to implement all kind of usufull features for addons develepers. I should have enough time in near future to upgrade website frequently but i need to know what is required. So please join the discussion on forum.
Tenth version of addon pack is in dlc. I've added script into package for the first time. It's ShoppaHighlander, probably best mode since shoppa was invented :) BAM app can't handle script installation so if you're using it you must install ShoppaHighlander manually (or use DLC).
My last removal of ShoppaHell and ShoppaNeon has made some players angry. The reason behind it was to not keep multiple versions of almost the same maps in the package (Sh4d0w made an update called ShHell and ShNeon). It adds almost nothing and only makes file bigger. Unfortunately shoppers can't live without old ShoppaHell so i've put it back in DLC. I've decided to ignore analogical whining about ShoppaNeon because i think updated version is better.
I made mumble server for hedgewars players. As its main page says "Mumble is an open source, low-latency, high quality voice chat software primarily intended for use while gaming."
Feel free to join.

If you were updating addons between 2012-05-08 and 2012-05-11 using incremental updates in DLC then you're affected. There was one typo in package: instead of "Themes" directory was named "Theme" (no "s" at the end). Matrix map will crash because of this. You have 2 options to fix it:
1. Move "MatriX" theme from directory "Theme" to "Themes" (it's in Data directory, see FAQ if you dont know where it is).
2. Reinstall last update (it wont remove old directory but it's not a big problem)
Also old version of "Solar System" is removed. Idk why it was still in dlc. SolarSystem2 has pixel bug fixed.
